Finding Time

As much as I miss my time with Trever, I couldn't be more proud of the man I get to call husband. Trever has always been one of those strong willed men with unmovable determination and currently works as a full time fire fighter, part time EMT for PMT ambulance AND is going to school full time to become a paramedic. Many who read this and don't know my Trev that well might think this sounds nearly impossible. However, for the ones that know my Trev...they will smile to themselves and think "Yep, that's Trev... don't know how he does it, but he makes it work". Not only does Trev make it work, he does it with a smile on his face and you will never hear him complain. He actually reminds me alot of my mother... she went to school full time and worked full time, all raising six young children. When asked how she did it, her reply: "You do what you want to do". I believe this is the same mentality God has blessed Trev with. One of the things I have treasured most about our marriage is our breakfast dates. In the midst of Trev's hectic schedule, he always seems to find time for us and one way he has done this is with “breakfast dates”. He will come off shift from working 24 hours, stop by the store (and surprise me with what's on the menu) then come home and cook me breakfast before waking me up. After breakfast he will shower and get ready for an 18 hour shift on the ambulance. Here is a look at what I get to wake up to on a "breakfast date" morning.
